FAQs
Can you trim and cut Tiles to fit my space?
Yes! All EasyTile tiles can be trimmed and cut with a utility knife or jig saw. Make sure to wear protective eye and hand wear for added safety.
Should I leave a gap around the edges or keep flushed to the wall?
To allow the tiles to expand and shift naturally with changes in temperature and everyday use, it’s recommended to leave an approximate 1" gap between the tile frame and any surrounding walls or fixed surfaces. This small perimeter space prevents buckling, ensures a smoother, longer-lasting installation, and gives the tiles the flexibility they need to perform at their best.
Do the tiles get hot?
Since the tiles are made from a blend of recycled materials and rubber, they can increase in temperature when exposed to prolonged sunlight. For comfort and safety, it’s recommended to wear footwear when walking on any outdoor tile surface.
